The History of McGinnis Hill

The story begins in Dublin Ireland, with the first of the clan McGinnis to leave Ireland I search of the new land called America. He was a man of average build but extreme character and determination. Benjamin Lasure McGinnis, born in the cold Irish winter of 1763 to his loving mother and his father, a fierce fighting man know to all in the south of Ireland.

Benjamin, learning many skills over the first seventeen years of his life was a jack of all trades and master of none, had knowledge in his heart he was destined for some other task. Then in the spring of 1780 he did hire on a ship for a one way trip to America, leaving all he loved behind him.

Come see what happens to Ben as his Irish ancestry changes his life forever in America during the Revolutionary War and for eternity.

Clyde McGinnis eldest son of Ben also known as the "Butcher". Who's wife and daughters as part of a plan to rid the hill of threats prior to the War of 1812 were massacred by Indians. How he lost his mind and the family asylum was created just for him.

But beware for he also roams the hill searching for vengeance.

Dillon McGinnis, nephew of Clyde hero of the War of 1812. Mortally wounded in a battle near the Susquehanna River. Was taken to the nearest home where lived a family of Vampires. Where the beautiful daughter fell in love with him and turned him into a vampire rather than lose him to die from his wounds.

And Dub, Grandson of Dillon who was too young for the Civil War but traveled west in search of adventure. But was eventually cursed for getting caught with a gypsy's daughter and caused the Hill to be roamed by a Werewolf forever. And once returned to the hill lost his daughter Elizabeth to the werewolf before he also was killed.

Elizabeth daughter of Dub, unknowingly caused a tear in the continuum between the spirit world and our world allowing all of the spirits to slip through to McGinnis' Hill.

So beware for evil lurks on McGinnis' Hill...
